Building Education for the Commons
One of the essential aspects of graduate school is learning to master the research paper. There are many elements to constructing and producing an excellent research paper such as identifying a topic, careful research, connecting the topic to germane texts, articles, arguments and authors, structuring your paper, and clearly communicating your thesis and ideas.
At The Global Center for Advanced Studies (GCAS) we believe in training our students to become excellent and persuasive communicators. This is why we will be offering a free, public workshop entitled, “The Basic Elements of the Research Paper”
On January 26th (Monday) at 10 am EST, Our Director, Creston Davis will be running a GCAS introductory workshop on the basic elements of writing a research paper. You can join easily by (a) clicking on this link: Big Blue Button; (b) typing in your name; (c) selecting classroom 1; (d) typing in “student” as the password.
We encourage all our students to attend this workshop. If you’re unable to make the workshop this time there will be plenty of opportunities to make another one in the future.
Thank you for supporting GCAS!
